Common Beliefs

While, of course, most groups have their own beliefs based on their culture and patron deities, these are some of the most commonly known and approved of throughout all wolves in the realm. 

Regarding Deities

The Celestials created Mount Dandria as the first part of the island, basing the rest of the lands around that area. However it is also rumored that secrets are hidden within the cave that the mountain harbors. The celestials also created the "Skyward Stones", for an easier connection to the ethereal plane for those wishing to speak to them or other divines, as well as to help those that have passed find the path to the afterlife easier.

 

Asvini's presence is generally represented by crows, darkly colored serpents, darkly colored foxes and the creatures of Asvini, those mixed with other creatures that have turned into deadly monstrosities. Creatures with melanism are also known to have Asvini's touch as their pigment is permanently dark.

Akhilarka's presence or touch  is generally represented by organisms affected by albinism and leucism or generally light creatures such as doves. 

Jinan is the generally known as the wolf who made the first map and who is rumored to be the first winged wolf to exist, as well as the one to help in the creation of most ancestors to winged wolves.

Albinism & Leucism

Albinistic creatures are often thought as being blessed by the Celestials or the divine, Akhilarka, especially if they are accompanied with wings. They are often given special places in the society, normally higher roles or those that accompany the more important roles.

Albino plants are another story however, including flowers. Albino flowers are often given to royals, each with their own special meaning based on the role they are to take. Royal male adults are often given these flowers in reward ceremonies for their status or , if the heir, to give them the courage to lead the rest of the group. Royal female adults are often given these flowers to give them hope in their next/future litters and sometimes hope and courage if they are to lead the group. Royal female adolescents are given these flowers to bring them luck in finding their true life partner or when betrothed. Lastly, Royal male adolescents are given these flowers to give them determination in their work, especially if they are training to be in a dangerous job of the royal family.

Leucistic creatures have a similar belief to albino creatures, though they are only thought to be holding a past spirit from the ancestors, that decided they wish to adventure on Osarade once more.

Creature Tips and Tricks

Honey and Harpies-- It is rumored that if you cover yourself in honey or have the scent of honey, Harpies will avoid you.

Seavia Cat Blood-- It is rumored that if you drink Seavia Cat blood, you will gain a large amount of strength.

Hunter's Favorite Meal-- It is rumored that the Divine of Hunting's favorite meal was the Jalich Hare! The meat is said to be the tastiest of the rodents, especially when laid with berries or herbs. Certainly refilling! However due to it being their favorite, it is rather illusive. It can be used as an offering to the Divine.
