How to Fill Out an Application

So, lets get started with your applications, shall we?

Staying Active

Before anything should be done, please read the following!
In order to continue to participate in this group's events and such, you must be active! To be considered active you must submit a piece of art that continues your character's plotline (must at least have a background and be flat colored with a distinguishable character) and/or a written roleplay continuing your character's plotline (must be with one other person consisting of at least 500 words), each month. You only need to link 1 piece of art or literature that has been submitted and accepted into the group in order to qualify as active. If you are unable to post that month please message someone on the staff team and you will be given a pass for that month, but only for that month. Should you fail to do either of these or continuously be inactive with your characters after notifying the staff, your character will be considered deceased/dormant and you will have to re-submit them the following month to re-enter the group. Some staff members or situations may allow us to be more lenient in certain cases, but please do not abuse this or we will become more strict.

Character Rules

-1) Each member's starter will be a Larid or Larid mixed wolf character without a power. Paryllan, Yiraa, Thaerin and other pure special types are not allowed to be given to new members. The power rule of the first character does not apply if the character was from a staff adopt set.

-2) You are allowed to use a base or premade lineart to create your character application sheet (aka the art application part), however this does not include "Doll makers" or "character creators". You are allowed to make a character for the group using makers/creators however you must transfer them to an already premade lineart, base or draw them yourself. You may commission an artist to draw your character for the reference as well.

-3) You must realize that when you join the group, you are allowing your character/s to be drawn and mentioned within the community in art and stories.

-Extra Important Information

- To gain more character slots you must be active within the group. After your first month of being active, you are allowed a second free character slot, and your third free slot will be gained following that second month. You may gain up to 2 free character slots (aside from the starter) until you have to pay in the shop for more.

- You are only allowed to submit an application once a month. Even if you are past your third month or on your third active month, you may only post 1 new character application to be accepted for that month. The following month you are allowed to post another form, and so on.

Application Rules

-1) Non-Staff members may not use the applications for any sort of profit, in or out of WAA!

-2) Gifts of art for applications is totally acceptable as long as credit is given on the character's ref sheet!

-3) Please do not use these applications for other groups! You may reference the style however as that is a common look for application sheets~

-4) You cannot enter the group with items! They must be bought after the application has been approved!

-5) Make sure that you read about the pack or group you want to start your character in (this includes wanderers) to get the correct details needed!

NPC (Non-Playable Character) Rules

-1) Your first 5 NPCs are free and do not count towards your character limit. They can be created and submitted at any time. However the rest you will have to buy a slot for on the store.

-2) NPCs can only be family members to one of your previous characters. This includes Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Siblings that are blood related. Of course the alternative to this is that you can have a few in-game player characters be related to your character.

-3) NPCs must be stated as either Deceased or Alive and cannot own any sort of items or be given shards to purchase items. This also means they cannot come into the group with a mutation or special marking.

-4) NPCs cannot come into the group as an actual character that is independently roleplayed. This means that they cannot re-enter the group as one either. (this may be changed in the future)

Creation
-Art/Picture

You must use one of the given official applications in order to submit your character's official art. The applications in the writing part of the picture must consist of a name, their pronouns, the species type/variant, and the rank within the group. Should they be a wanderer, a rank is not required. When looking for a rank please refer to the group that you wish to join's web page or journal. Likely they will show what ranks are available and what they do. Continuing on to the art part of the picture, there must be a flat design within the large space left for your character and the palette information filled out completely (including the eyes, nose, paws and coat bar). This also includes the opposite side section of the design given on the side. NOTE: Characters may not enter the group with any items! The items must be bought from a merchant or marketplace by that specific wolf using their own shards, inside the group.

-Written Description

The second part of creating your application is the writing portion. Pay attention to the lore of the world as well as the group you wish to join, as that will be judged thoroughly when mods are looking at your forms to accept or decline it! Your form must at least contain their personal information (at least the Name, Sex, Age, Species, Power *if they have one*, Height & Weight *see available species for these two*), their personality (not only traits! there must be at least an explanation of each trait portraying the character or at least a 20 worded description), Family (can be set as unknown or deceased), and a pre-group history (must be at least a 20 worded description and must be lore friendly to both the world and the group).

-Other Suggested Information

Aside from having the other written information, its suggested you have a linked Shard Tracker, Rp/Art Tracker, and Relationship Tracker on the desctription for each separated character. While these are not required, they are helpful in making sure you remember who you've interacted with, how many shards you've accumulated and what plots your character was involved in. Another helpful piece of information is the list of programs or apps you roleplay on, such as Discord or Google Docs for example. A Character Medallion may also be nice as you can easily add it to the DeviantArt journal where you copy your roleplay to. Other than this feel free to add whatever you like to your information.
