Merchants
Not everything can be gotten simply by surviving, gathering or hunting. These are mostly cosmetic items, of course. However some wolves have learned how to make stunning items, or useful tools that could certainly benefit a wolf... for the right price.
Kurai Marketplace

Coming from a previous, small group of family members, the current owner of the market lived with his father and mother. His siblings went off into the lands, adventuring, but he decided to take being a merchant to the next best thing. During the time it took to create the marketplace, the owner's father passed away from an unknown illness, leaving the job just to the owner, his elderly mother and whoever he happened to find to help with construction. To this day he still runs the marketplace and lives in the merchant housing with his elderly mother, taking care of her while making sure the item stocks are full.
Cylyra Marketplace

Previously owned by a large, wealthy family group from a previously large society of wolves, this market has been around longer than the Kurai Marketplace. After breaking off from the society, the family built their own special living quarters and moved to the marketplace as their permanent home, taking with them their recent young daughter. The daughter's siblings stayed in the society so she was the only possible current heir left to run the place. Due to their wealth and with no reason to try to "climb the ranks", they allowed the daughter to find someone she truly loved, that would be able to run the place with her. Soon she found a lovely male to marry and the previous head owners retired to a separate living quarters from their original, leaving the newly married couple to manage the market.
Merchants
These merchants only reside in the marketplaces, though some also reside in their own camps on the land. They often either buy merchandise from other merchants or find and make their own merchandise. They travel around the landscape with a small amount of common items that are sold in the marketplace, but also have special items sold by them only. These special items range from each merchant.

You must draw a piece of art of the select character and the chosen merchant interacting, purchasing the item wanted (must at least have a background and be flat colored with two distinguishable characters) or a 500 word roleplay between the merchant and the character (NOTE: neither of these will be awarded shards in that case but instead be awarded the item they wish to purchase).
