Living Legends

There are many so called "legends" out there, including these rather interesting creatures.

Prey
Jalich Hare

  • Aka; Horned Rabbit/Hare

The smallest of the legendary creatures, they have caused for some rather interesting hunting tales from even the best hunters. They are practically illusive, and somehow even harder to catch compared to a regular hare/rabbit. Their horns can cause for minor injuries and their teeth/claws often cause infections, and as their horns often can get so long they go over their neck area, they are rather well protected. Horns from these hares are often traded or kept as trophies.

Thohap Boar

  • Aka; Giant Boar

This giant creature is never to be hunted! Being much larger than most Wild Boar, as well as being extremely uncommon, they are a serious danger to any creature. They are absolutely fearless and will attack anyone they see as a threat, including a simple passerby. 

Vilidric Elk

  • Aka; Giant Elk

A majestic, certainly worthy of legend, elk with antlers that can reach trees across a small clearing. One of the most challenging to hunt, and certainly one of the most dangerous of prey creatures, the Vilidric Elk can cause injury or even death to the wolves that try to prey on them. Seen from afar, their antler racks sometimes look like they are part of the trees, catching branches, leaves and other flora while supporting local, unafraid, small birds.

Predators
Creatures of Asvini

  • Aka; Chimeras

Mixtures of various dangerous animals, Creatures of Asvinioften are carnivores or have an extremely serious dangerous quality (poisonous fangs, scorpion sting, large claws, ect.), making them very much to be avoided. Their large size, along with the ability to travel one other area other than land makes them hard to avoid when encountering them. Most say that these creatures come from the deity of chaos, destruction and tricks, Asvini, explaining their miss-matched appearances.

Meadith Bear

  • Aka; Giant Bear

Even larger than most bears and more aggressive than the most aggressive predators on the islands, the Meadith Bear is certainly one to be feared. The bear has been said to be covered in scars, is missing an eye, has long claws and has a roar that echos through forests. Some have even said that the creature rules and guides all other bears, though its unlikely.

Iris

  • Aka; Leader of the Seavia Cats

The leader of the Seavias, Iris is the largest Seavia Cat to ever exist on Echatsgard. She is littered with scars, and is quite larger than any bear ever seen. She could practically destroy an entire kingdom just on her own if she wanted. She rarely ever comes down from the mountains but when she does there is destruction in her wake. If you ever encounter her, it is likely to be a death sentence.

Treniel Serpent

  • Aka; Giant Sea Serpent

Being the largest creature to exist near the islands, the Treniel Serpent resides in the waters within the crescent waters, around Mount Dandria. The creature never seems to leave the area for any reason, making them the most dangerous creature in the seas. Some have even said they can sprout wings, though most have only seen them somehow jump out of the water to catch food from the skies. Truly a majestic and yet seriously deadly creature of the seas.
