Founding and What Lead to It

Territory
Danny was the heir, the first born, to lord of his past kingdom. His father tried to toughen him up, tried to make him stronger to prepare for the future. His mother couldn't do much about his father, though it wasn't like Danny wasn't getting the love he deserved. His mother would shower him with kisses whenever she got the chance, wanting to cuddle him all the time. His siblings gained more freedom, as they did not have the future responsibility of being a Lord, though this didn't stop his mischievous tenancies.

There was a time that Danny's father went to discuss something with a rather disturbing pack. When his father returned, there was certainly more than something "a little off" about him. He uttered pure nonsense to random passerby's, and often preached that those with powers were cursed, evil, hellbent to destroy anything and everything. Not only this, but his fur became knotted, wild and his eyes were unnerving, gave him a paranoid or crazed look. Slowly but surely, like a disease, the thoughts he preached spread to others, throughout the pack. This soon left Danny ,and those with powers of their own, to try and stop this madness that had spread like a plague.
He approached his father, trying to reason with him before he was turned to the guards. The group waiting for him was attacked, a few captured and killed before they started their escape. One wolf left fire, burning parts of the landscape quickly and causing pure chaos to reign. Danny made sure that he was left running close behind the group, fending off the guards that followed. Eventually it became too much. Danny stopped, yelling at the group for them to keep going and started lifting a wall of rock and stone that reached above the trees and blocked as far as he could go away from the path they ran. He knew the risks of this but kept going as pain shot through his bones. Keeping this barrier in tact, he ran, his legs growing more stiff the farther he got.

Even when he and the others reached their new sanctuary, resting for days and gathering resources, his legs were in a constant of stiffness and were painful to move. To this day that wound from his overuse of power hasn't recovered, but he is glad at least he was able to save the lives of the few that followed him. Over time, those that followed him left, to join other packs or to find their purpose, and gained those that wandered towards the borders, those that were willing to give what they have and live in peace.
Rules
1)- No harm may come to another wolf by a fellow member, by intention or otherwise. This includes fighting, murder or other nefarious deeds along those lines.
2)- Should we come across an injured or sick wolf within our territory, clearly needing of assistance, we will help them until they are fully healed and fed. The only exception to this is if they show clear signs of aggression or violence, or physically attacked a member of our pack first.
3)- A Lord's word is law, and they are allowed to overrule or change previous laws as well as create new ones without consulting from the pack or higher ranks.
4)- Pups and Elders are to be respected and held as the highest priority when receiving food or medic care within the pack. They are not to be mistreated at any cost and protected when in danger.
5)- Aside from the Lord, Lady and Baron, everyone should be treated as equal members. No one is better than another and each have a rightful place in our pack. Should the Lord, Lady or Baron wish to act as equal members as well, they are allowed to and others must respect their decision.
Mates and Breeding Views
[Problematic views do not reflect the views of the group or staff in any way and is simply for world building. If you have an issue with something listed here please contact one of the staff and we'll take your concerns into account. These rules also have a chance to change based on the leader that is ruling at that time.]
Mates
-
Gender/Sex does not matter between the pair when it comes to mates and members in the pack are to respect this.
-
Mates, unless one passes or a pair splits, are to be loyal to eachother. Being with another wolf when also having a living mate is highly frowned upon.
Breeding
-
Spiritual Wolves and Priests/Healers may take mates but are forbidden to breed when in the rank. Should they wish to breed, they must step down from the rank and either retire early or take a rank that allows them to have offspring. This is so no distractions are made when on a highly stressful/important job in either of the ranks.
-
Aside from the listed above, the rest of the ranks are allowed to have offspring with their mate.

Places of Importance
As with all established groups, there are particular places that are special to the members and group.
Main Base
The main camp of Desin, surrounded by a barrier of thick thorns and a strong wall of stone and wood, under the cover of large pine and oak trees. Inside the camp, there is a low entrance to the main den, which is for the large majority of the members, and the “Food Pit”, which is used to store extra prey and other similar items, like hide and skinning tools. Deeper into the camp, past the main area, is a higher, more cave-like den for the leaders and nobles. This den has an entrance covered in moss and vines to keep out cold winds, rain and snow. Throughout the area, there are higher rocks, almost like mini cliffs or plateaus, of which are common to see wolves laying on and chatting as the warm sun thaws their chilled bones.
Celestial Falls
A small ways away from the main camp is the Celestial Falls, a cave with a waterfall that opens to the outside and a stream running into Swallows Creek. The sun makes the water sparkle and shine as though it is a gateway to the heavens. There is some reinforcement on the entrance and inside, that being mostly wood, as well as some lanterns for lighting at night. Nobles, Leaders, Priests and the High Cleric are normally the only ones who visit the area, however some other ranks are allowed for ceremonies. Priests and the High Cleric visit the falls to speak with the Celestials and Divines, often staying there for an entire day or more if needed.
Swallows Creek
The main water source for Desin and the area where the majority of the herbs are found, Swallows Creek is extremely important to the small pack. The water is fresh and there is often prey gathered there as it is one of the few water sources around.
The Healing Grove
The area which sick or injured wolves go to meet the medics is only a short walk outside the camp. The area is small with less foliage, less trees and bushes, except for as a barrier around the area. Longer grass and the wild flowers litter the place, often making it easy to use in bedding. Towards the edge is a large old stump that was hollowed out and dug underneath, where gathered herbs and healing items is stored. It is slightly more humid in the sorting place, though it isn’t overbearing or enough for mold to appear. Only about 2 or 3 wolves can fit in the medic stash comfortably at one time and each winter they have to work to keep the stash clean so no one gets hurt going in or out of the entrance.
